No Fee Balance Transfer Credit Cards

Balance Transfers Credit Cards are a great tool you can use to save money. A balance transfer card allows you to transfer the balance from another credit card to a card with a lower rate. If you have a balance on a credit card that is currently charging you interest, you can transfer your existing balance to the new card that offers a 0% APR on balance transfers. A balance transfer card is especially a good idea when you are trying to get out of credit card debt. The idea is to find a card that offers the lowest rate and for the longest period of time. Typically, there is a fee associated with making this transfer – a balance transfer fee. The fee is usually 3% to 5% of the amount you transfer.

Even with a balance transfer fee the right card will save yourself a good deal of money because you will be avoiding interest charges, but what if you could avoid the fee too? This type of fee is something we have become accustom to, but it looks like that might be changing. The Slate by Chase card now offers 0% on balance transfers for 12 months with no balance transfer fee – the first of it’s kind! If more card offers like this become available we will add them to the list. Until then, check out the Slate® from Chase offer with No Balance Transfer Fee.
