Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Credit Card Review

From time to time, the Southwest Airlines® Rapid Rewards® Premier Credit Card offers an excellent free flights deal. Well the deal is back!

If you’re looking for a rewards credit card with an excellent bonus offer, this one might be for you. The Rapid Rewards® card is already a great deal, especially for frequent travelers. It offers double points on many travel-related purchases, anniversary points, and 1 point per every $1 transferred to the card.

But the real deal here is the bonus offer: when you spend $2,000 in your first 3 months of cardmembership, you’ll get 50,000 bonus points – enough for two average roundtrip fares through Southwest®’s Wanna Get Away?® program.

While this card has an annual membership fee of $99, it is still an excellent deal just with the 2 roundtrip flights deal. Here’s the skinny on this returning credit card deal:

I am trying to take advantage of the on line advertisement above which states that that the annual fee for the Southwest Rapis rewards card is $39.00. When you go to fill out application it says $69.00. I called customer service at 800-955-9296 and they said that was an error and the sites are being updates butt his site is not yet updated. I think I should get the advertised rate of the annual fee of $39.00 as otherwise this would be false advertising. Can you please return my email and tell if you are willing to abide by your advertised rate of the annual fee of $39.00 for the Southwest Rapid rewads Card which says you will get 20,000 bonus points after first use.
    Thank you-

I have been member since 2009. I have purchasedd many flights from ABQ to Austin orSAT and I have no account number and I have never had a free or even a discounted flight. Why? MLB

My poinsts were sent to an account that Southwest said belonged to another person. I tried to get my points and flights for months. I finally gave up, there is no one home at Chase or Southwest, they blame each other. If they cannot handle points, what would happen if I had a major problem.

    Unhappy!!!!!!!
