Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card: One-time $200 cash bonus after you spend $500 on purchases within 3 months from account opening This is a modest signup bonus, but the spend is easily achievable for most people.

Who the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is Best For
Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is a great card for people who like to travel but don't do it that often. It offers a good welcome bonus, and in addition to the rewards, you also get a few travel perks, such as auto collision damage waiver and travel accident insurance. However, if you travel a lot, you might be happier with the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card. You get more travel rewards, such as a $300 travel credit and an anniversary bonus. You get more travel perks as well, including unlimited airport lounge access. The annual fee is higher, but the travel credit and the anniversary bonus make up for it.
Who the Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card is Best For
The Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card is a great choice for people who want a simple cash back structure and are interested in an introductory 0% APR, all for no annual fee. You also get a signup bonus which should be easy to attain.
If you want to maximize your cash back rewards, the Chase Freedom Unlimited® offers 5% cash back on travel purchased through Chase Ultimate Rewards, 3% at drugstores and restaurants, and 1.5% cash back on everything else. Instead of a signup bonus, Chase is offering an additional 1.5% cash back on all purchases, up to $20,000. This card also has no annual fee.
Does it make sense to get both cards?
Maybe. You could get both cards and use the Venture primarily for travel and the Quicksilver for the cash back rewards. You only have to pay one annual fee of $95, so the initial cash outlay is pretty minimal. You could also take advantage of the 0% intro APR offered by the Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card. This could be a great choice to make a major purchase or pay off other debt.
