Cell phones are expensive. They’re also easy to lose, easy to drop, and easy to break. And because of their hefty price tag, they’re not so easy to replace. Cell phone protection eases some of the cost and the best part is you may already have it if you carry one of the cards in this list.
How to Choose Your Credit Cards
We chose the cards in this list not only because they have cell phone protection, but also because of the other great features they offer. You’ll find we divided this list into three sections. First, are the Daily Driver cards, which should be the first card you choose to carry. Daily Driver cards should earn at least 2% cash back on all purchases. This way you earn elevated cash back on your everyday purchases.
Next, you’ll see Triple Play cards. These cards should pay 3% cash back in at least 3 categories. If you choose to carry more than one credit card, one of these can be your second card. Lastly, you’ll see Category King cards. These credit cards should offer elevated rewards of 5% or more in at least one category. Category King cards should be your third pick if you choose to carry three or more credit cards. We call this the 1-2-3 cashback system which you can read more about here.
Reader Tip
An AllCards reader reports AT&T reduced the $10/month Autopay credit to just $5 for customers who pay their bill with a credit card. To get the full $10 monthly Autopay credit, customers need to use Autopay with a debit card or checking account. A Reddit thread shows other wireless providers are doing the same.
Thanks for the tip, Don!
