Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card is a great entry-level Marriott credit card. Not only do you get the three free night award in the bonus, but you also get a free night each year on your cardmember anniversary. You’ll also earn points for Marriott stays as well as 3x points on gas, grocery stores, and dining (up to $6,000 in combined purchases per year). If you only stay at Marriott’s occasionally or you aren’t a true loyalist, this card is a good choice.

Best for bonus points on Marriott stays

Marriott Bonvoy Bountiful™ credit card is Chase’s highest tier Marriott offering. You get a solid welcome bonus and complimentary gold elite status. Gold elite status gets you a 25% points bonus on every Marriott stay, late check-out, and complimentary room upgrades when available. You get a free night each year, but only after you spend $15,000 on the card, which is odd because you get a free night without having to spend anything with the less expensive Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card. This card could be a good option for those who want to rack up the 1,000 points bonus per eligible Marriott stay.

You get 1,000 bonus points per stay, and a generous welcome bonus. You also get a free night’s stay, but only when you spend $15,000 on the card. You qualify for gold elite status with this card. This card may work for you if you’re a road warrior and frequently spend 1-2 nights at a Marriott multiple times a year.

Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express® Card is a premium rewards card for people who love Marriott brand hotels and can’t get enough of them. The annual fee is hefty, so make sure you can make use of the benefits before you apply. Benefits include a $300 dining credit (up to $25 a month), a $100 property credit at the Ritz Carlton or the St. Regis, a free night award, and Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite status. Platinum elite status gets you 50% more bonus points on stays, enhanced room upgrades when available, and a welcome gift (varies by hotel).

Best for business travelers

Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card is the only Marriott business card on this list. Business travelers who are partial to Marriott-branded hotels will find this is a solid addition to their wallet. You can get a 7% discount on eligible bookings as a benefit of being both a Marriott Bonvoy® member & a Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express® Card Member when you book directly with Marriott through an eligible channel for a participating property under the Amex Business Card Rate.

Plus, you can get gold elite status, a free night each year after your card renewal month, and an additional Free Night Award after you spend $60K in purchases on your Card in a calendar year. Award can be used for one night (redemption level at or under 35,000 Marriott Bonvoy® points) at hotels participating in Marriott Bonvoy®. Certain hotels have resort fees.
