The Mastercard® Gold Card™ is a luxury card designed for those who don’t mind paying the hefty $995 fee for perks like around-the-clock access to a concierge. There is no welcome offer, which is odd for a premium travel card, but you do get Priority Pass airport lounge access, plus a $100 credit for Global Entry/TSA PreCheck. There is also a $200 annual airline credit, and points have a value of 2% when you redeem them for airfare or cash back. There is still no getting around the fact that this card is expensive, and other travel credit cards offer more rewards, a signup bonus, and great perks for less money. Read on for the details in this Mastercard Gold review.
