Trip Delay Insurance
When you purchase your airline ticket with your covered U.S. Bank Altitude® Reserve Visa Infinite® Card and your flight is delayed by more than six hours or requires an overnight stay, Trip Delay kicks in. This benefit will reimburse you for the reasonable expenses that you incur as a result of that delay ($500 maximum per ticket). This coverage is in place even if the delay is due to bad weather or equipment failure. And, this benefit works in addition to any airline vouchers you may receive for food or hotels. Be sure to pay for your fare with your covered U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite Card and remember to save your receipts – you’ll need them when filing your claim.Trip Cancellation and Interruption Insurance
When you purchase your travel ticket with your covered U.S. Bank Altitude® Reserve Visa Infinite® Card and you must cancel or interrupt your trip, this benefit can help reimburse you for the non-refundable cost of your passenger fare. This coverage applies to more than air travel – it also can be in place when you have used your covered U.S. Bank Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite Card to purchase your ticket for travel via other forms of eligible transportation, such as a ferry, train, bus or cruise ship. The cancellation must be due to a covered reason, such as an illness or accident affecting you or another family member that prevents you from traveling. The Plan Administrator will ask for verification by a physician. See the FAQs below for examples of non-covered reasons. This benefit will also cover you if your trip is cancelled or interrupted as the result of default of the common carrier (e.g., airline, cruise ship, ferry) resulting from financial insolvency. To ask a question or assistance with the claims process, please contact the Plan Administrator at 1-800-261-3511 (Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. ET).Extended Warranty
Extend your warranty’s time period when you use your covered U.S. Bank Altitude® Reserve Visa Infinite® Card for your purchase. Extended Warranty Protection will extend the time period of coverage to your existing U.S. manufacturer’s warranty by one additional year on eligible warranties of three years or less. There is a per claim maximum of $10,000 and a per cardmember maximum of $50,000.
Return Protection
Use your covered U.S. Bank Altitude® Reserve Visa Infinite® Card and get extra return protection any time you make an eligible purchase of an item up to $300.00. If within 90 days you become dissatisfied with your purchase and the merchant will not accept your return, Return Protection is there to help.
Purchase Protection
When you use your U.S. Bank Altitude® Reserve Visa Infinite® Card and your purchase is stolen or damaged within the first 90 days from the date of purchase, Purchase Security can replace, repair or reimburse the item up to $10,000 maximum per claim and $50,000 maximum per cardmember. Keep in mind that if your item is stolen, you must file a police report within 48 hours of becoming aware of the theft.
Lost Baggage Insurance
When you use your covered U.S. Bank Altitude® Reserve Visa Infinite® Card to purchase an airline or common carrier ticket, you can be eligible to receive reimbursement for your checked luggage or carry-on baggage and their contents in the event it is lost due to theft or misdirection by the airline $3,000 per trip maximum; (if you live in New York, the maximum is $2,000 per bag). This coverage applies to more than air travel – it also can be in place when you have used your covered U.S. Bank Altitude® Reserve Visa Infinite® Card to purchase your ticket for travel via other eligible forms of transportation, such as a ferry, cruise ship, train or bus. Be sure to fill out a lost luggage report with the common carrier immediately. You will need this information when filing a claim.
Car Rental Loss and Damage Insurance
When you use your covered U.S. Bank Altitude® Reserve Visa Infinite® Card to rent a vehicle you’ll get built-in Auto Rental Coverage. You’re covered for physical damage and theft, reasonable and customary towing and valid loss-of-use charges. Decline the Collision Damage Waiver coverage offered by the rental agency and make sure your name is listed as the primary renter on the auto rental contract. Any additional drivers must also be listed on the auto rental agreement. You’ll also want to be sure you rent a “covered vehicle” – for example, trucks and expensive or exotic cars are not covered. If you have any questions, please call the Benefit Administrator at 1-800-546-9806 for complete information.
