Do Amex Business Cards Offer TSA PreCheck Credit?

Yes. The TSA maintains a page of credit cards featuring TSA PreCheck. Unfortunately, the list is incomplete and fails to mention many business cards with this benefit. One example is the The Business Platinum Card® from American Express. From Amex’s website:

Receive either a statement credit every 4 years after you apply for Global Entry ($100) or a statement credit every 4.5 years after you apply for a five-year membership for TSA PreCheck® (up to $85 through a TSA PreCheck official enrollment provider) and pay the application fee with your Business Platinum Card®. If approved for Global Entry, at no additional charge, you will receive access to TSA PreCheck. Each Additional Card on eligible Card accounts is also eligible for one statement credit for an application fee for a five-year membership every 4 years for Global Entry or every 4.5 years for TSA PreCheck. To receive the statement credit, the application fee must be charged on the eligible Additional Card.

What is the Best American Express Business Card?

The best card will depend on your company’s major expense categories. For those with online advertising as a big expense, the American Express® Business Gold Card is the best choice. If your company spends a lot of money on building supplies, the The Business Platinum Card® from American Express would be my top choice. And of course, if you travel for business, one of the co-branded cards may be best.

How do Amex Business Cards Compare to Chase?

American Express and Chase both offer business credit cards that offer a range of rewards and benefits that cater specifically to the needs of entrepreneurs. Amex comes with management tools and flexible payment options. Similarly, Chase business credit cards also offer competitive rewards and benefits, along with exceptional customer service.

I’ve chosen Chase business credit cards for my company, largely because it is the best option if cash back is your goal. For travel benefits, I give the edge to American Express, although both card issuers offer excellent travel rewards and perks.

How do Amex Business Cards Compare to Capital One?

American Express and Capital One business credit cards both offer excellent options for entrepreneurs. American Express excels at travel rewards and perks, while Capital One has excellent business cash back cards. At the same time, the Capital One Venture X Business is an excellent travel card from Cap One. One point of difference is that Capital One does not offer co-branded cards with travel partners.
